The foundation of the project

For groundworks we look for people who can follow drawings and levels and who work carefully around the surroundings. You dig trenches, lay pipes or sewers, spread sand and help set out the works. Finishing sites can also be part of the job. You often work with machine operators and understand how important coordination and a tidy work area are.

Varied outdoor work

You may work around new-build sites, on renovations or on sites where pipes and utilities need to be installed. One assignment might focus on excavation pits and foundation preparation, another on streetworks or restoration after a pipeline. In areas with growing new-build developments there is a lot of preparatory work, while renovation often requires careful digging in existing situations. That makes the work varied and practical.
