Amsterdam needs carpenters who work carefully in existing buildings, on conversions and renovations. Many assignments focus on woodwork, layouts and finishing in properties that may remain occupied during the work. That’s why communication, tidy working and attention to connections are just as important as speed.

Renovation in existing buildings

In the capital there’s often an emphasis on careful repair and conversion within existing structures. You make or repair interior joinery, erect partition walls, fit doors and work on frames. Workspace and logistics require good preparation; materials and tools must be used purposefully. In renovations you coordinate regularly with residents, site supervisors and other trades so the work can continue smoothly.

Craftsmanship in renovation
